Abstract
⺠Predicting production and environmental impacts was valuable in the R&D design process. ⺠Predicting likely adoption rates was valuable in the R&D design process. ⺠The tools encouraged project participants to think more about issues affecting their projects. ⺠Increased understanding of systems and influences on system performance was achieved. ⺠Ex-ante evaluation can lead to better project design and investment decisions.
