Abstract
⺠There is no cost to yield in adhering to mirid thresholds, vindicating the thresholds. ⺠Pest managers accepted mirid number thresholds for visual surveys but not beatsheets. ⺠Interpretive knowledge is common problem in multi-disciplined groups. ⺠It may be why pest managers were reluctant to accept mirid thresholds for beatsheets. ⺠Overcoming differences in interpretive knowledge is important to develop mirid IPM.
