Abstract
⺠We incorporate a microscopic plasticity theory into a neural field theory. ⺠This plasticity model is stable without requiring additional saturation mechanisms. ⺠We predict spike-rate adaptation from subthreshold stimuli. ⺠We predict the system-level STDP window seen in paired associative stimulation (PAS). ⺠We reproduce rTMS frequency dependence, where low and high frequency rTMS trains induce depression and potentiation, respectively.
