Abstract
⺠We aim to explain the evolution of sexual systems in barnacles. ⺠We analyzed ESS size-dependent resource allocation by dynamic programming. ⺠Dwarf males and pure females appear under high mortality and poor-food availability. ⺠Integrating sex allocation and life history explains various sexual systems.
