Abstract
⺠Dispersal asymmetry does not necessarily affect metapopulation persistence. ⺠No effect of dispersal asymmetry on extinction risk in regular connectivity patterns. ⺠Asymmetry of dispersal patterns often correlates with changes in other features. ⺠Asymmetry in itself might not be a key parameter to be considered in isolation.
