Abstract
⺠This work proposes a theory that describes the self regulatory and homeostatic control during insect metamorphosis. ⺠Alterations on Entropy is related to specific developmental events of Histolysis and Histogenesis in most cases. ⺠Self-organizational properties of the pupal system are reflected on the periodic trends of respective Markovian Entropy. ⺠Insect diet affects Entropy content of the Markovian process and respective equilibrium states.
