Abstract
⺠Pochonia chlamydosporia was isolated from Meloidogyne-infested soils in Brazil. ⺠19 isolates (65.52%) belonged to P. chlamydosporia var. chlamydosporia (Pc. chl). ⺠The efficiency in reducing Meloidogyne javanica reproduction varied among fungal isolates. ⺠Isolates 10, 2, 3 (Pc. chl) and 64 were the most efficient strains. ⺠Significant information was added to the development of a bionematicide (Pc-10).
