Abstract
⺠The relationship between efficacy and deposition was modelled for 2 mineral oils on 4 California red scale (CRS) life stages. ⺠The relationship differed between the oils and the stages. ⺠The oil that provided greater coverage and impact size was not more effective. ⺠Greater coverage not always result in greater efficacy. ⺠90% was the maximum efficacy that could be achieved for N1, N2 and N3 and 80% for PP.
