Abstract
► A recessive gene, Tsn1, for resistance to P. nodorum isolate Sn2000 was located on 5BL chromosome in ND735. ► The wPt-8285 and wPt-3049 DArt markers flanked Tsn1 at 7.0 cM and 2.9 cM, respectively. ► The same gene controls resistance to tan spot (Pyrenophora tritici-repentis) race 2. ► This findings support the gene-for-gene hypothesis for wheat-P. nodorum interaction. ► This result enhances the utility of ND 735 as a source of multiple disease resistances.
