Abstract
⺠The objective was to identify stable shoot fly resistant genotypes among RILs of 27 B Ã IS 2122. ⺠Non-significant G Ã E, significant pooled deviation indicated unpredictable genotype performance. ⺠5 lines had low deadheart percentage with regression close to unity showing stable resistance. ⺠AMMI analysis indicated that environment had the greatest effect (69.2%) followed by G à E (24.6%). ⺠Transgressive variation was observed for traits indicating both parents have contributed alleles.
