Abstract
ⶠInorganic N plus LPM increased yield levels by 1.1 t/ha compared to inorganic N alone. ⶠGrain protein benefits of up to 1% unit were achieved with LPM application. ⶠLPM usage in combination with lower inorganic N rates provided greatest benefits. ⶠAverage organic nitrogen uptake efficiency (NUE) was moderate (33%). ⶠInorganic NUE was significantly higher (67%) than the organic N source.
