Abstract
⺠A sum of 48 accessions of Jatropha curcas L. was collected from Malaysia. ⺠Broad sense heritability was high in general and exceeded 63.5% for all the traits. ⺠Genetic advance was higher (>70%) in total no. of seed per plant and seed yield. ⺠UPGMA dendrogram grouped all the accessions into 6 clusters at coefficient 4.88. ⺠For the improvement, 2 accessions, D-01-09 and B-03-02 could be used as parents and required to be hybridized with the accessions of other clusters.
