Abstract
⺠Jojoba oil upon pyrolysis produces fuel hydrocarbons and short chain fatty acids. ⺠Pyrolysis of triacylglyceride and jojoba oil yields similar liquid and gas products. ⺠Glycerol in triacylglyceride oils appears to be a source of higher-MW products. ⺠Jojoba oil is pyrolyzed at higher temperatures than triacylglyceride oils. ⺠Higher residence time of jojoba oil pyrolysis yields more GC-elutable products.
