Abstract
⺠3-Day high CO2 pretreatment improved rachis quality in table grapes stored at 0 °C. ⺠Rachis browning appearance was linked to an induction of VcPAL and GPO1 gene expression. ⺠High CO2 levels reduced the MDA content in rachis and activated the enzymatic antioxidant system. ⺠ACO and ACS gene expression was induced by low temperature in rachis and arrested by high CO2 levels.
