Abstract
⺠We investigated rodent seed dispersal and consumption behavior. ⺠Rodents prefer to consume small seeds with thin hulls. ⺠Medium sized seeds with medium hull thickness are more often buried. ⺠Large seeds and seeds with thick hulls are most frequently not consumed or buried. ⺠Seed traits are maintained by stabilizing selection, driven by rodent behavior.
