Abstract
⺠An efficient protocol for germination of immature seeds/embryos and mature seeds of Spathoglottis plicata was developed. ⺠A reliable and reproducible protocol for micropropagation has been devised. ⺠The in vitro raised plantlets were established in greenhouse with 80% survivability. ⺠This protocol can be extended to other economically important, rare and endangered orchids for mass propagation and conservation.
