Abstract
⺠B. thuringiensis gene (cry1Ia1) was introduced into potato cv. Mnandi. ⺠Seven transformed lines expressed potato tuber moth resistance. ⺠One to three copies of the cry1Ia1 gene integrated into five transformed lines.
