Abstract
⺠EtOH extracts exhibited high antibacterial activity (MIC < 1.0 mg/ml). ⺠S. birrea twig extract high activity (MIC = 0.195 mg/ml) against Bacillus subtilis. ⺠Extracts exhibited high COX-1 inhibition at 250 µg/ml. ⺠PE and DCM extracts exhibited high COX-2 inhibition. ⺠Plant part substitution is a possible practical conservation strategy.
