Abstract
												âºWe describe a new legume species, Aspalathus abbottii C.H. Stirt. & Muasya. âºIt is restricted to summer rainfall grasslands in KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa). âºIt has a rigid spreading habit, villous branches, glabrous bracts and bracteoles. âºIts 1(2) bright yellow flowers are borne on short lateral shoots.
