Abstract
⺠Chromosome numbers of South African Apiaceae are reviewed. ⺠New counts are given for 12 species from nine genera. ⺠First counts are given for seven species and one genus (Itasina). ⺠The new data is discussed in the context of phylogenetic relationships.
