Abstract
Synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles were achieved by Vitex negundo leaf extract. The synthesized NPs were characterized by UV, XRD, FTIR and SEM-EDX analyses. XRD pattern confirming the presence of TiO2 NPs. FTIR showed the presence of (CO) biomolecules responsible for capping and efficient stabilizing agents of the nanoparticles. The SEM analyses were clearly indicated that the spherical shape of the synthesized TiO2 NPs and an average size of 93.33Â nm. TiO2 NPs are hydrophilic in nature, disperse uniformly in water, are highly stable, and had significant larvicidal and pediculicidal activity against A. subpictus, C. quinquefasciatus and P. humanus capitis.113
