Abstract
A total of four species of Batrachedra which is the major, if not the only, genus of the family Batrachedridae are reviewed for the Korean fauna, with previously unknown three species, B. albicapitella Sinev, B. pinicolella (Zeller) and B. smilacis Sugisima. Keys to the species of the genus, taxonomic notes, and some re-descriptions of morphological characteristics are provided with images of the adults and their genitalia. Historical review of the family in terms of its systematic rank is briefly discussed.
