Abstract
⺠Macrophyte richness and composition were analyzed in non-fragmented dune ponds. ⺠Area was not a determining factor for macrophyte richness. ⺠Diversity of habitats influenced total macrophyte, hydrophyte and emergent richness. ⺠Isolation reduced macrophytes richness. ⺠Species composition was determined by isolation, diversity of habitats and hydroperiod.
