Abstract
⺠We tested the selectivity of a trawl main body during night sampling. ⺠Trawl selectivity was determined by comparing the catch using this gear with that from a purse seine net. ⺠Both gears are size selective - small fish escaped through meshes of the trawl whereas larger fish from the purse seine.
