Abstract
ⶠMitomycin C arrested Alexandrium tamarense in S phase. ⶠMitomycin C treated-cells in S phase produced paralytic shellfish toxins. ⶠMicro molar level of colchicine did not arrest cell cycle. ⶠHigh concentration of colchicine prolonged G1 phase. ⶠCells in prolonged G1 phase did not produce toxins.
