Abstract
⺠Carpobrotus rossii flavonoids are located within the photosynthetic tissue. ⺠Flavonoid production is increased under conditions known to cause oxidative stress. ⺠The latter include excessive light, reduced water availability and low soil potassium. ⺠Both sub- and supra-optimal soil NaCl causes oxidative stress in C. rossii.
