Abstract
► Modeling the temporal variation of hydro-physical properties of burnt rice husks. ► Bulk density increased their initials values by 66%, due to compaction of the substrate with time crop. ► Over the whole crop cycle, total pore space fell on average by 13%, and air space by 40%, corresponds to the break-up of coarse particles and the increase in bulk density. ► Changes in hydro-physical properties should be considered to adequate fertigation strategies.
