Abstract
⺠A variance function was used in regression models of blueberry fruit and flower buds. ⺠The variance-covariance matrix can be parameterised with the variance function. ⺠The confidence bands for the predicted fruits are more suited to the number of fruits. ⺠The residual variance drops around 90% of constant error variance.
