Abstract
► The antioxidant activity of exudate produced by Suillus bovinus was investigated. ► The fungal exudate proved to be a promising source of natural antioxidants. ► The antioxidant activity was attributed to the presence of non-phenolic compounds. ► Such proprieties could be manipulated by changing environmental conditions. ► The exudate produced under light at 18 °C revealed the best antioxidant properties.
