Abstract
⺠CO2 gas exchange of cuttings was monitored in a non-disturbed rooting environment. ⺠Photosynthesis is not generally subject to adventitious root formation. ⺠Photosynthesis significantly contributes to the carbon balance of petunia cuttings. ⺠Light and CO2 concentration are key factors limiting photosynthesis.
