Abstract
â¶ The cross-species transportability of Prunus SSRs in P. microcarpa was 96%. â¶ A high homology between P. microcarpa and the other Prunus was observed. â¶ P. microcarpa and P. avium were located in the same major cluster. â¶ AMOVA revealed a high genetic variation among individuals within populations. â¶ Genetic variation among geographic populations was significant.
