Equivariant formality of isotropy actions on homogeneous spaces defined by Lie group automorphisms

Given a compact, connected Lie group G and a compact, connected Lie subgroup K defined by an automorphism of G, we show that the isotropy action of K   on G/KG/K is equivariantly formal and that (G,K)(G,K) is a Cartan pair.
