Abstract
In this paper, we present a method to realize wireless communication system modelling using SystemC at different levels of abstraction. The objective of the simulations is to analyze the system-level performance with considering circuit-level specifications by integrating the necessary circuit-level measurements (or Spice simulation) into the system-level models. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RF Transceiver is chosen for this study. It is modelled with SystemC-AMS (SCAMS) and is integrated into a SystemC-TLM (SCTLM) described digital BLE environment to achieve a global system simulation. The simulation gives results as the RF Transceiver energy consumption and Bit-Error-Rate (BER), which can be used to analyze and optimize RF system design.
