Abstract
⺠Great potential in using CE to elicit farmer preferences for AES characteristics. ⺠86% of Danish farmers indicate an interest in implementing buffer zones. ⺠Farmers are able to put monetary values on different AES features. ⺠Flexibility in contract length and possibility to break it are highly valued elements. ⺠It is possible to quantify an entrance value to overcome non-economic barriers.
