Pi-pi interaction and hydrogen bonding in crystal structure of vanadium(V) complex containing mono hydrazone ligand: Synthesis and protein binding studies

Dioxidovanadium(V) complex containing hydrazone ligand has been synthesized. Complex crystallized with monoclinic P21/n space group with cell parameters a/Å = 11.9791(7), b/Å = 19.7898(10), c/Å = 16.4661(9), α/° = 90, β/° = 106.059(6), and γ/° = 90. The binding interaction of the synthesized complex with protein (BSA) was also studied and was found that, KBSA is 2.712 × 107 M− 1.435
