Abstract
Two pairs of BINOL-strapped chiral bis(porphyrinato) cerium double-decker complexes were synthesized and characterized by a range of spectroscopic and electrochemical methods. The CD spectra suggest that the chirality of a BINOL strap can be translated to a defined chiral twist between the two facing porphyrin rings with tunable efficiency.207
