Abstract
Two 0-D dinuclear zinc(II) azaheterocyclic complexes 1-2 were substituent-dependent, in which 1 involved in situ formation of 2,3,5,6-tetra-(pyridin-2-yl)pyrazine (L3) via two CC coupling reactions from pyridin-2-yl-N-(pyridin-2-ylmethylene)methanamine (L1), while 2in situ construction of 1,2-di(pyridin-2-yl)bis(1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene)ethane-1,2-diamine (L4) via one CC coupling reaction from 1-(pyridin-2-yl)-N-(pyridin-2-ylmethylene)ethanamine (L2).180
