Abstract
Scandium and yttrium half-sandwich chloride complexes (η5-C5Me4R)ScCl2(THF)2 R = CH2Ph (3), R = SiMe2CH2CH2Ph (5) and (η5-C5Me4R)YCl2(THF)2 R = CH2Ph (4), R = SiMe2CH2CH2Ph (6) were prepared and the influence of various substitution of the cyclopentadienyl ligand on solid state structures of the resulting complexes was investigated.121
