Abstract
A bifunctional cobalt(II) compound, [CoII(terpy)2](TCNQ)4·3DMF·0.5H2O (terpy = 2,2′;6′,2″-terpyridine), shows incomplete spin-crossover properties in the cobalt (II) complex and semiconducting properties in the quasi one-dimensional packed TCNQδ − radical anions.95
