Abstract
⺠We model the background in surveillance scenes by online PCA in brick level. ⺠STPBM is robust to various illumination changes in real surveillance scenario. ⺠STPBM can capture subtle variations of foreground in low contrast effectively. ⺠STPBM is capable to adapt challenging busy scenes well and quickly.
