Abstract
Beside older categorisations and gradings of tendinopathies in sports the recent clinical classification of tendinopathies of athletes by Gremion and Zufferey are presented. Furthermore a description of specific classifications of particular tendon injuries follows as well as avulsion lesions in adolescents.
