Abstract
Nest-boxes reached hotter daytime temperatures overall and remained hotter for longer than tree-hollows, manifesting in higher estimated costs of heat-loss required by marsupials. Figure shows half-hourly daytime temperatures recorded across all sampling periods, with predicted thermoregulatory requirements for a common brushtail possum at each temperature overlaid.191
