Abstract

•Three new records are reported in Korea for the first time.•Re-descriptions of Korean species are provided with illustrations and photographs.•A key to Korean genera and species is given.

Eight species in three genera of the tribe Pulvinariini Ashmead, 1891 in Korea, including three newly recorded species: Leptopulvinaria kawaii Tanaka and Amano, 2008, Pulvinaria hydrangeae Steinweden, 1946, and P. photiniae Kuwana, 1914, are reviewed. Adult females of Korean species are redescribed, and a key to Korean genera and species of Pulvinariini is provided.
