Abstract
► Probability of Aedes aegypti gene expression to dengue infection is studied. ► Gene context positively influences expression of genes to dengue infection. ► Probability of gene expression increases with increase of intronless feature. ► High codon bias has negative effect on gene responsiveness to dengue infection. ► Derived genes in A. aegypti are more likely to respond to dengue infection.
