Abstract
- A multilocus sequence typing was done on 64 E. bieneusi specimens.
- Parasites from different areas all showed strong linkage disequilibrium.
- There were no geographically segregated sub-populations.
- One clonal and one epidemic populations were seen.
- One population was transmitted anthroponotically and one zoonotically.
