Abstract
- The foot prints of Staphylococcus aureus in group A Streptococcal pharyngitis infection were reported.
- Among which, 15.9% of methicillin-resistant vancomycin-intermediate S. aureus was documented.
- A novel ST, ST2129, belonging to CC15 was identified.
- Our findings suggested that MRSA could play a major role in pharyngitis infection on its own or in association with GAS.
