Abstract
⺠Restricted diversity among YopD sequences from human pathogenic Yersinia isolates. ⺠The N-terminus may contain a coiled-coil-like motif. ⺠This element is absent from YopD-like sequences derived from other bacterial genera. ⺠Contributes to YopD function and Ysc-Yop T3SS activity during Yersinia pathogenesis.
