Abstract
⺠Intrahost passage alters acid resistance and cell-associated kinetics of Listeria monocytogenes. ⺠The altered phenotypes link to the SigB activity. ⺠Themutation in rsbWlocus (a regulator for SigB protein) is assumed to be a major cause for the phenotypic alterations.
