Abstract
⺠Fasciolids from sheep from Cajamarca and Mantaro and Bolivian Altiplano are analysed. ⺠Two phenotypic patterns are distinguished: valley pattern and altiplanic pattern. ⺠Andean valley and European standard populations presented a phenotypic homogeneity. ⺠Altiplano population showed a large size range with a pronouncedly lower minimum size. ⺠Results are analysed in terms of permanent/seasonal transmission characteristics.
