Abstract
The divergence of American and Asian Cryptocercus was estimated to have occurred 55.09Â Ma, and the radiations of American and Asian taxa 28.48Â Ma and 20.97Â Ma respectively. Reconstruction of ancestral geographic distributions using S-DIVA suggested Cryptocercus was originally distributed across both continents. The last common ancestral of Asian Cryptocercus was inferred to have existed in Central China.154
